Who Loves Block Inlay Fretboards ?

I think that's all of em. I kinda like the aesthetic.
Really great instruments.. love that 3TSB Jazz and those matching purple sparkle basses.
I absolutely LOVE blocks & binding, but only have them on one bass right now (my first bass, a Fender MIJ ‘75 Jazz Reissue):
I do have some plans for a custom build 5-string version of this, but it’ll have to wait quite a while.

I do. I don't own any though. But if I did, it would have to be on a dark fretboard only and neck binding as well.

Geddy Lee claims that there's a difference in tone between the pearloid and black blocks. Anyone know anything about this?

Mostly dot but I have one with blocks. I think next bass I build will be blocked neck.Just a classic look.

Here are my main & stunt basses, both have block inlays.
Does it mean that I love block inlays? No, honestly, I couldn't care less

I love them on a fender jazz... those album pics of geddy when I was a teenage bass player made me zone in on that exact sort of look if I ever do own another jazz bass
