Alternative for Roto Swing66 lasts longer

For all you Labella users, we're talking the Labella Stainless Steel round wounds - M45 would be model number for a particular gauge. Here's a picture -

Anyone else use these? Thanks!

Hi @eriky4003 we meet again! ;)
I tried these ages ago when they were still called Hard Rockin' Steels. From what I remember they have a similar feel and tension to Rotosounds but the tone is different. Less in the high mids? Or just smoother maybe?
I think the set I used had similar longevity to the Rotos.
Hope this almost helps, ;)

Well I got some unfortunate news from La Bella today. They're going to be discontinuing the Stainless Steel series of strings and just concentrate on their lower-tension Rx strings. I guess I'll be going back to the Roto RS66 after I use up the M45s I have at home.

I know that Jason Newsted has played the M45 for a long time. Assuming he still does, I wonder what he'll switch to.
