Bag End Club.

Here's killer stack from a few years ago, Q10BX-D/S18-D. The S18-D was my introduction to Bag Ends.

Tried the D12-D, but probably should've run 2 of them. :meh:

Here's a stack that was an ohm issue, but really sweet!

I bought a Bag End 18 on Friday and I am just floored by it

I was trying out amps. looking for a single 15 and plugged in this 18 on the whim of my friend who was with me and I was instantly hooked.

I wanted something to go below a Trace 410 when I bought a Classic 400, afraid I would blow the Trace running a 400w tube amp into it alone.

But I have been running the B\E alone for most of the last few days without the Trace because it sounds soooooo good. I can't believe a 1x18 with no tweeter can be used stand alone and sound completely full range.

I am now a Bag End fan

yeah that cab is amazing. I've heard one once and was sure that it was running with something else for the highs. - it wasn't. It seemed to do the high end as well as their 15" and was fast and articulate even on upper register fills. My preference would be to run it with a twelve but it could do a lot of gigs solo.

The D15-B in the catalog looks a lot like the 2x15 cab I had, which was indeed internally divided and the same as two S15B cabinets, but that catalog apparently pre-dates the port with the removable cover, which my old cab had. I wonder when they added that feature. Do you know what year that catalog is from?

Hi There! - First post...
I've been playing bass since '68 and just recently traded into a real rig!
Ampeg SVP-Pro, Carvin F600 and Bag End! This is real bass TONE!

nice. just make sure you line up the drivers better than in the pic. that much difference won't ruin your tone, but theoretically you would want both woofers to line up and have their sound reach the ear at the same time.
