I read this one as a joke. A way to accurately state Jeff's age, but also a nod to the "1979" element of the Retro Bass Distortion while simultaneously ascribing prodigious powers to him.
However, it does say "basso profundos" instead of "bassi profundi" and that is unforgivable.

You know, I was going to make a retro joke but it's late here and my brain was too tired.
I mean, I'm a former English major, so I say fix them...
But in reality, I find that many people would never notice, and many that do, wouldn't care much. I'm typically the minority when it comes to issues of a grammatical nature.
