I sold an G&L mj5 that my hands didn't always agree with but will miss dearly. I have the chance to buy it back, but not the funds.
I have an spector that isn't getting along with my hands either I have a feeling ill miss. But can't prioritize sound over comfort.
I regret selling my first bass. A 1981 Kramer Bass. I had just gotten it worked on and I pulled it out of case a week later with nut half exploded off. I couldn't afford fixing and needed the $ so sold it. A couple months later I had no more finanical issues and more expensive 1500$ basses.. go figure.
I had an 1971 fender P bass that was somewhat of a Frankenstein with a later American made neck and American noiseless pickups, I traded it for a big cab that I wanted but Instantly regretted because I couldn't move it on my own. I've replaced it over with a g&l p bass ; but it doesn't feel or sound the same. Oddly enough I don't like most fenders, but that was a special one.
There are more that I regret buying than parting with. Usually for budget reasons or for one in-one out.
