Farewell Pawn Stars

It wasn't the providers. I read an article where A&E, the parent company, dropped H2 altogether. They replaced H2 with Vice.
A&E shows this vile crap, but doesn't want the Duck Dynasty praying on camera. Tells me all I need to know.

I was scrolling through the Dish guide the other day and saw Vice was showing a series called "Balls Deep." Yeah that caused a double-take... :woot:

What a great read. I saw two wrong statements though.

"If an attorney can't be afforded, one is provided for them"- Not where I live. It goes county by county. I have an ex who still gets bills from a court-appointed defense attorney for $300, after a case she did no work at all and basically stood there and asked my ex what she wanted to do. I could've given her better representation, and I'm a idiot.

"Defense attorneys are saints"- LOLOLOL… no they aren't. Having been around lots of them, there are those who will trade sex for services, or take a car as payment. I know they are the rare cases, but they're out there.

I highly doubt Chumlee is a dealer. The guy has money and a drug addiction, he probably buys meth for a month at a time. Buying meth isn't like buying marijuana, you do not get an ounce in one bag unless you are a dealer. You would get a fistful of small bags.

Don't you guys watch Breaking Bad?

You certainly don't public defend out of greed. Don't you watch Better Call Saul! J/k.

That's assuming you're buying from a street dealer. I would think if somebody was using that much, they'd be connected higher up the chain

They canned Olivia and all she did was a racy photo shoot!

I wouldn't. I do not know if you're into Megadeth but I suggest reading some of Dave's stories about scoring drugs. He would drive around in, I believe, his Mercedes trying to score drugs from street dealers. Even then, you'd have to be connected to a mid-level dealer to get it without pre-packaging.

Another thing could be that Chumlee likes to collect paraphernalia. Each pipe with residue is a charge or two.

I also had no idea they hired a girl. Was this recently?

Was this in Dave's hometown, or when he was on the road?

Believe me when I say that that's an anomaly and Dave is a dummy stupid! It isn't at all difficult to score larger amounts of non-pre-packaged drugs.

She was on the show in 2012-2013.

I remember learning somewhere that the actual pawn shop where they do business is next door. The shop on the show is apparently really sort of a museum. BTW, Pat the NES Punk was on Pawn Stars, and he said that all of the haggling was real, so that at least gives me a little faith in "Reality" TV actually having some reality.

With that said, I always found Pawn Stars boring. I prefer the pawn store show with the hot chick who's always fighting with her brother.
