That '66 brought tears to my eyes.

It was pretty much a perfect specimen. It had "THE" sound. But, that 1 3/4" nut made the string spacing too wide for me. I know it's heresy, but I sold it and kept a Peavey Fury with a Hi-A (vintage Bartolini) pickup that I like better for playability and just as well for tone. And I actually like the looks on my Fury better, too. It's ALL black - even the fretboard (though with white dots and a BWB pickguard). The Fury was also Made in America. I don't miss the '66 at all.

A man's gotta play what a man's gotta play! Fury sounds pretty nice, too. BTW, I never thought I would like a brown and gold Music Man either. Learned something new today. Thanks for sharing these pics.
