Yeah i was aware of that but I just jumped on it as it was rather late at night and I knew i wouldnt be able to call for aorund 12 hours. Now I have to sell 3 or 4 cheaper basses to justify it , but hopefully it is worth it as I have wanted a classic ray since before they were even available to the public.

I actually just looked and it was marked as 5 stars condition wise so it should be pretty clean , but I dont know if it has a case or not-guess that will be a suprise.

Good thing to pounce on something you want as it would likely sell to someone else if you didn't. They'll usually mention that it has a bag or a case in the ad if it has one.

Yeah I just went for it figuring if I didnt like it in the end I could do a return. But a total of $1,024.85 for a bass that goes for $1800 is fine with me, these classics rarely go for under $1200 in fact I have only seen it once.

If it has a case awesome, if not I have plenty. The package weighs 28 pounds so unless the bass is a tank or the weight is off it may have one.

We will find out, I like to gamble at times:smug:

28 lbs is probably what they call dimensional weight based on weight and the overall dimensions of the box.

Hopefully for you it does come with a case.

Since you're in Oregon, you get to avoid state sales tax, don't you?

Ah I see.

The only reason I even cared if it had a case was that it would protect it in shipping , I think I have 5 hardcases as is and storing them has become a pain:D

But yes no sales tax is great when buying gear!

Here's a sweet Hamer USA Cruise Bass 4.

I actually bought it and returned it, I just couldn't justify it and really didn't need it. It's a very well made bass, with a quartersawn neck. 2Tek bridge, EMG SV pickups, and whatever EMG BT preamp that it came with. I did a little digging on it while I had it, and I think it was made between 97'-98' and did come from the factory with the EMG's. I think they called it a Cruisebass Custom. It has some scratches in it, but nothing major.

So if anybody is looking for a bass, go for it. These are hard to find!
