Sub'd. Can't wait for the next episode. I looked at the video for bass #1. Very impressive. How does it play/sound? You deserve a lot of respect for doing this with the tools you have and coming out with such a great product. What are the woods you are using?

"You deserve a lot of respect for doing this with the tools you have" --> Did you see my 1st project, the Les Paul model? Used also bread knife to open slots on fretboard

"What are the woods you are using?" - The first video (Day 1). As all the woods are from Brazil, I don't know how they are known in USA. Those woods are almost the same I used on my 1st bass. I think I put their names in the description under the videos.
BTW, here are some of them:
* For the body back: 1st bass: Marupá (Simarouba amara); Brazilian Cedar (2nd bass)
* For the body top: Muiracatiara (Astronium lecointei Ducke, Anacardiaceae)
* Neckthrough: Tauari, Cedar, Roxinho (like purpleheart) and Angelim.

Do not expect any dialog at all

You are right! Almost every time I use them. I just skip filming most of the sharpening process to avoid this boring activity.
