Just got a SR4005E Prestige. Super nice. I have had several other Ibanez basses, but this one blows them away.

Can I get a number? I just took delivery this morning of a STUNNING near-mint Ibanez BTB405QM in trans-blueberry. Gorgeous instrument. A evilBay STEAL at $300 including an Ibanez case!

The B string sounds massive and overall the sustain is ridiculous. I can't wait to play with it some more.

Hi all!
New member to Talkbass and the Ibanez club.

New to the bass in fact. After years of "regular" guitar, thought it was time to join the Low Side and so picked this SR300 up just last week.

Technically it's my 2nd ever bass since I had a Fender Jazz Bass about 15 years ago but only owned it for about a year and used it just to record - plan on learning and dedicating myself to the instrument this time.

Checked out a bunch of low priced basses including the much talked about Squire VM series and some Yamahas and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the SR300 in comparison. Great finish, solid feeling hardware, comfy neck/body. Had my heart originally set on the Yamaha BB414 but just didn't want to spend more than $300 (and was 20% off with "Dads & Grads" sale at GC) so at least went with an OJ finish like the BB414

Anyway, poor cell phone pic but can't find my camera's usb cable!!!

I have two Ibanez's. I picked up an SR400 around two years ago and then I just picked up this SB900LE today.

My SR4005E arrived on Friday. Exact same one as mfbolton's. Beautiful instrument + great sound. I am very happy with it. I'll post pics tonite.
