my BTB takes the traditional
formula of massive body and substantial neck
and then adds an even longer 35" scale neck.
it's a Big basse with a massive, deep sound.

thru neck allows to providing an amazing sustain
i love this model

Hey guys-I used to own an SR900 which I really liked and unfortunately sold...but I just bought this version of the SR700 with the Bartolini PUPs...has anyone played this bass and how does it compare to the SR 900 or the 20th SR10004 models? thanks...DAcat

Mine's not very expensive. A 1984 Roadstar II PJ with EMGs. I love it. Can I still join the club even if mine isn't quite as pimpy as all of yours? (btw, I have a second Ibanez, a low end 5-string because I just wanted a 5-string).

I have reccenty bought back my old MC 924 DS.
And i like this bass, it sounds and handels gerat
and it's realy easy to vary the sound, it's
on the heavy side compared to my Fender
Precision Lyte.

i have the same bass and its a monster. awesome deep sound but very variable tone awesome pre amp as well. and the pickup selector switch is awesome, it works so well on this bass, all usable sounds.

I've been a die hard Fender maniac for years (for both basses and guitars), but I just got my first Ibanez bass the other day, and SR500. I love it.

I also have a 540SLTD guitar that I got back in 1990. I have brought that guitar to hell and back many times and it's still awesome. So versatile and plays amazing.

Hi Guys,
Greetings from England. I've got a Saber with the BIV bridge and can't seem to set it up properly. My neck is bang on straight and got really lovely low action for first 7 frets then action goes high. I'm buying a MIJ made '93 SR 800 which has same bridge so any info would be GREATLY appreciated.

Cheers Dudes, let's keep the bottom end rockin'

Chris, England
