They can! You just have to order it that way from the Custom Shop.I'd buy a Cirrus in a heartbeat if it had dot markers on the fb.
Whoa! Looks like a few customs/mods in there.
What about the birdseye board on that Milennium? I've never seen that before!Yup, the fretless 5, red quilted 5, and peacock blue fretted 4 w/Kahler were from the custom shop.

I've seen several like that on Ebay.
Yeah, I should have clarified... I was more referring to the density. I too have seen some birdseye in those boards, just not nearly that much. The fact that it was a NAMM bass explains it, tho.Yup, nothing custom about it, although after it was built, Peavey selected it as a NAMM Show model because they thought the wild flame top looked good.
Of course! Maybe this weekend might work out, otherwise I might be free later this week in the eve's.spade2you, I never get tired of looking at that picture.
Vic, I'd like to come over sometime and bring my USA Millenniums sometime to do an A/B test with your Cirrus if you're willing.
+1!!!spade2you, I never get tired of looking at that picture.
Nice lookin' bass, Cheese. Hey, here's a quick photo tip for ya... next time, make sure most of the light is coming from almost directly behind you so we can see that beautiful top! Any time the light is from behind or even the side, your camera is going to make it too dark in its attempts to overall adjust the picture's light and dark areas to average out. Here are some shots of my Cirrus:

Ehh, it's not that hard. You'll catch on real quick... just gotta' watch the light is all. Also just make sure the light isn't 100% directly behind you, so you don't get glare. Just a little off to one side or the other but still mostly behind you is best. Should light that top up nicely. Thanks Vic, I can use all the help I can get on pics. It is not something that comes naturally to me at all.
I've got a "few".
lol! Talk about priorities...
$14,000 worth of bass guitars on a $300 couch.
