Tube Preamp/DI Sound Samples — Noble, Oracle, P-15, Super Stack, REDDI, Tonecraft, Jule...

Believe me, I did consider one for quite a while. I wish the Khan had it's in's and out's set up like this. It would be more board friendly. I think if I didn't "need" a few effects and was basically bass to wireless to DI to FOH, I would have a greater chance of having a Noble.
Yep. I love, love my Khan. My only complaint is the location of the audio jacks and power jack. It makes for a less-than-ideal fit on a smaller pedalboard.

Everyone really loved the sound of the Khan. Next gig I'm going to try bypassing my Stomp (unless the gain gets all screwed up) and see how it sounds just bass to Khan.
I decided I'll just leave it loose as it needs it's own power (can't use the CIOKS) and I want to keep my board small to fit under my synth between the feet of the legs or the "X" stand.

@scubaduba did you ever try this?

I thought it would deserve to be in this thread?

I use an IEC splitter with mine so that I can have it connected along with my power supply. Amazon sells them. Could easily use with a temple board or similar if you wanted a simple quick connect platform.

Anyone have experience with both the Khan VTDI and the SB Venus Z? I love the description of the Venus, as GK with tube warmth sounds incredible, but I've yet to hear a negative word on the Khan, and I love the simplicity.
