They always are, in part because they are usually the tallest team in the tournament.
They actually looked good all-around, except for a few careless backline errors and missed finishes. They look to give Germany (assuming they beat Sweden) all they can handle.
That said, I thought the U.S. restored its aura of invincibility yesterday.
Yeah but if the pitch has a slight gradient they run out of breath pretty quickly, I've worked there, it's like a snooker table!

You got me. I figured you were joking about them getting tired given how fit these women are, but the fields actually do look like snooker tables on TV.
I was referring to the Dutch team being out of breath with a slight gradient because their country is so flat.

The Dutch also gave us a much needed 5 million guilder loan in 1782 worth billions today. This was after Yorktown so the fighting was over, but before the Treaty of Paris was signed, sealed and delivered.

As I recall, France and England both had pretty good sides that year. The USMNT didn't qualify.
