I've expanded from 5-string fretted to included 4-string fretted BEAD.
I think 4-string would assume EADG, so I'll just leave it be.

TBH I find a five-string to be visually awkward whereas a six-stringer puts the standard 4 string electric bass strings in the middle with the low B and high C. It's not as much of a visual adjustment for me.4string fretted. I don’t think my fingers are long enough for a 5 or 6 string bass.
I just don’t like how 5 and 6 string basses feel in my hands.
