What's Your Favorite Color for a Bass Guitar?

Historically, I like natural for most basses because when done right with the right selection of woods, it's just amazing to see what kind of natural art can come from a tree.
(and as a builder myself, I know that it's also easier to finish natural wood, so that's a good thing, too.)

Second to that would be a nice transparent tinted finish to make that pretty wood a different hue. Many tints look really good, not gonna lie. The older trans teal that Musicman was using in the early 90s was and still is one of my favorite colors ever, especially over an insanely figured piece of swamp ash.

And if there needs to be a finish (like on awesome sounding {usually basswood} basses made with "meh" looking woods), then I definitely like a nice deep metallic red. There was a bike color that a shop I worked for had which was in most basic light, a sort of deep and mellow red, almost burgundy... but when the sun (or a spotlight) hit it, the color popped SO HARD, you thought it was illuminated with magic.
I want a bass with THAT.

Any shade of blue...

I suppose anything not a bare wood dining table color!
Wouldn't mind a color stain over figured maple, though.

I have natural,black,white,trans-black (actually my fave),, 2 tone SB (Epi Tbird), gave a blue P to a friend, It might come back home. I'm moving from a big house to a 2 bedroom condo, I think some basses are gonna be sold...

So I got inspired after reading this this thread (thank you @tb-player !). And as I was reading it, I was thinking "I wonder what everyone's favorite color is for a bass guitar?". I will go first:

My favorite bass colors are Candy Apple Red (or Ruby Red in Ric parlance), Miami Blue, and Royal Blue (or Midnight Blue or Azureglo in Ric parlance).

CAR is my all time favorite color and seeing it on a bass is no exception. I don't care about seeing entry level basses with that color, when CAR is done right, it's done right. My Ruby Red Ric 4003 in my avatar is my #1 bass and it's a stunner in person. The pictures simply don't do it justice! I'm a lucky man to have had this bass for so long! :D

Being a native South Floridian, Miami Blue reminds me of home. This finish reminds me of the warm Atlantic Ocean in the spring and summer as well as Miami Vice and Miami Subs. 7ender made it a color for their American Pro II series and it's absolutely stunning in person. Porsche also makes cars in this color, which only makes it cooler.

While I don't own a Royal Blue bass, this color has been a favorite of mine since childhood. It looks especially sharp with a white, anodized gold, or mint green pickguard.

Honorable mentions for me are Lake Placid Blue, Dark Night, Gold, Orange, and Black.
Sparkling Pelham Blue.

I've got a total soft spot for a glossy, tasteful purple burst. Unfortunately I cannot stand sunbursts anymore, and I've never looked at a black-on-black bass (especially Fender and MM) and thought "man that looks nice". That's just me though.
