What's Your Favorite Color for a Bass Guitar?

Though I prefer natural, I seem to like amber quite a bit:

So I got inspired after reading this this thread (thank you @tb-player !). And as I was reading it, I was thinking "I wonder what everyone's favorite color is for a bass guitar?". I will go first:

My favorite bass colors are Candy Apple Red (or Ruby Red in Ric parlance), Miami Blue, and Royal Blue (or Midnight Blue or Azureglo in Ric parlance).

CAR is my all time favorite color and seeing it on a bass is no exception. I don't care about seeing entry level basses with that color, when CAR is done right, it's done right. My Ruby Red Ric 4003 in my avatar is my #1 bass and it's a stunner in person. The pictures simply don't do it justice! I'm a lucky man to have had this bass for so long! :D

Being a native South Floridian, Miami Blue reminds me of home. This finish reminds me of the warm Atlantic Ocean in the spring and summer as well as Miami Vice and Miami Subs. 7ender made it a color for their American Pro II series and it's absolutely stunning in person. Porsche also makes cars in this color, which only makes it cooler.

While I don't own a Royal Blue bass, this color has been a favorite of mine since childhood. It looks especially sharp with a white, anodized gold, or mint green pickguard.

Honorable mentions for me are Lake Placid Blue, Dark Night, Gold, Orange, and Black.

Purple, for me. Olympic white is probably my second favorite.

I like lots of color and uniqueness... so anything but sunburst, natural, and black makes me happy, and I suppose I like blues, reds, greens, and purples best. And I'm in for any metallics, sparkles, color flipping, relicing, engravings, stickers, whatever.

But... at the end of the day, sound and playability are far more important to me than finish. As it turns out, most of my best playing and sounding basses are black.

Love a natural finish more than any other color.
Can't go wrong with a black or a sunburst.
But there is absolutely no reason to put a white pickguard on a sunburst or natural finish.
I actually like shell pink and burgundy mist. One of each is enough, though. I have a shell pink PJ.
I'm not going to rest until I get an Antigua Jazz with rosewood fretboard and pearl block inlays.
Basically, Ian Martin Allison's bass.
I'm incredibly pissed that Fender did not include the Jazz bass in their run of Antiguas this year.
That just doesn't make any sense to me.

I think color choices (in anything) reflect your personality. How much you want to stand out in any particular circumstance. I don't. My color palette was pretty much defined and locked in the 50s early 60s.
I don't hate anything, though; I just think you're goofy.

My tastes run to classic Fender 2 or 3 Tone SunBursts. Or natural. Everything else is goofy!! (JK :D)
