Love it! Has gradually become my live go-to.Cool bass!!!
Do you play it upside down? It is a Jaguar, right?Love it! Has gradually become my live go-to.
Yes, it's the first year they were available in the US Japanese model, Very thin neck (think similar to a Geddy Lee). I don't believe any of the following models have a neck similar to these or the "jazz" pickup setup. I'm a lefty that learned on a right haned bass back in the 70's. To this day I restring my actual lefty basses right handed or I can't play them.Do you play it upside down? It is a Jaguar, right?
Very cool I am a lefty but have to play right handed. I can't seem to play a lefty bass. i know lots of other left handed people who play righty too. Best example is the great Jorma Kaukonen. Wasn't till I met him at his guitar camp that I found out he is a lefty also!!Yes, it's the first year they were available in the US Japanese model, Very thin neck (think similar to a Geddy Lee). FuzzMy bands play moderate volume gigs fairly regularly, and I've already soloed the NXV210 at one. Sounds great, and has plenty of heft.
Unfortunately my gigs are often too loud for a 2x10, so the NXV112 will get its share of work. Of course it's a great match for the 2x10.
When I joined the headless club I had to find an alternative to my Hercules hanging stands. That mini stand was my choice, and I love how compact it is.
Jimmy Haslip and Scott Kuss are probably the best known bassists that play this way.Very cool I am a lefty but have to play right handed. I played violin as a kid (very badly) but got used to fretting with left hand and couldn't break the habit when I started playing bass and guitar!!
I think the great Albert King played lefty with an upside down right handed guitar strung normally as right handed so you are in good company!!!
TBH, I don't know. I typically run 210 with 212, a Jim Bergantino approved combo (sounds great to me). I soloed the 210 at one gig, but have never A/B'd 210 vs 112 directly. If I have time next gigs (11/29 and 11/30) I will give that a try and let you know.Fuzz
Is nxv112 louder than the nxv210 ??
Haslip-style!

Ok thanks. The way I interpreted your post was I thought you where say the 12 was louder or better in your louder band mix. ? I always thought as a stand-alone the two drivers would be louder or cut between than a single 12. Just curious currently.TBH, I don't know. I must have misspoken... happens too often! First impressions are that 210+112 is a nicely balanced setup. It makes sense that the 2x10 would be a smidge more efficient, but the question is, how noticeable to human ears?Ok thanks.
