For me, a Jazz without blocks/binding is like a night without stars. Of course my Jazz has dots.

Squier is completely stock, it is a Squier Classic Vibe 70's Jazz 5.

Ultra electronics are completely stock. I changed the bridge (Hipshot), two knobs and the pick guard.

Ahh right on. Man the body on the Squire looks awesome. I’ve never seen one like that. Thanks for the response!

I'm ok with black or dark abalone blocks on maple and dark abalone on rosewood.

I tend to agree with you on that, but, I think "black blocks" on maple is what probably first attracted me to this Tele:
