B3n patch library.

Here's a double feature patch Idea that I've also been brain-storming recently. these patch ideas closely duplicates the heavy sounds of a darkglass alpha omega bass distortion pedal.

Okay I will be getting one real soon. I was thinking in the meantime, I can come up with patch ideas mentally and once I do get the zoom b3n, I would most likely would come up with updated versions of the patch ideas I came up with. not quite sure how some of these patch ideas will turn out, but hopefully you'll enjoy them.

This is so cool to hear. I have been watching your threads(and trying out your ideas) for very a long time. I think this will benefit you as much as us. Being able to tryout your ideas on actual B3n and refine the sound is the way to go.

Glad you enjoy my patch ideas. I will try to come up with patch ideas for the zoom b3n mentally. whatever I come up with(rather If I have the zoom b3n or not), I will post it here. and you are right about one thing. the zoom b3n would definitely benefit me since I have been known for improvising nifty patch ideas for many different multi-effects processors. I will purchase one real soon. in the meantime, I see what patch ideas I can come up with mentally. if I brain-storm any new patch ideas, it will be posted here.

Here's a patch idea from my past patch ideas thread. this patch closely duplicates the heavy driving sounds of an ebs metal drive.

Modern bass distortion

Dynacomp: sense: 3, attack: fast, tone: 7, level: 100

bass metal: gain: 25, tone: 45, level: 100, balance: 25

svt8x10: dyn20: 50, dyn57: 45, bottom: 70, balance: 45

Here's another patch idea that came from my past patch ideas thread. this patch has heavy distorted bass sound with a clean punch.

Cool metal bass

znr: thresh: 17, detect: efxln, level: 90

bass metal: gain: 40, tone: 50, level: 100, balance: 18

d.i plus: bass: 4, mid: 3, treble: 2, color: on, clean vol: 80, blend: 40, gain: 50, dis vol: 0

Here's another patch idea from a past thread to here. this patch closely duplicate the tube-emulated distorted sounds of a tech 21 vt bass.

VT metal bass

lmt-76: input: 70, ratio: 4:1, release: 50, level: 50

Bass metal: gain: 25, tone: 50, level: 100, balance: 20

Sub'd. Just got one and been playing with it. Haven't used live yet, way too new.

I wish the desktop app (Windows) did more. Need to check into programming capabilities in general, saving settings, cloning all patches as a backup, etc. How to make patch libraries. Still very new and haven't invested much time in it at all.

Try tonelib instead of the default app, it's much clearer and it is free. ToneLib – Second life for your Zoom pedal
It includes tone exchange between users too.

Yes, this program is really fantastic. I own a ms60b that I was going to sell when I discovered ToneLib, once able to edit easily and to backup my work, I decided to keep it.
There is only one thing that I miss in it: the ability to move presets to organise them. Actually if you move a preset it is flipped to the other one, not inserted.
Otherwise, it's much better than zoom's editor.

I have shared several patches through ToneLib, I have more, but I didn't had time to write description for them yet. I will prioritize this to share some more.
What kind of sound are you interested in? What bass are you using?

I was disappointed with the Octave effect at first, but with a Stringray 4HH and bass boost maxed....it goes all the way down to F# no problem and tracked very well.

I use it plugged into ToneLib all the time, way easier to see and change settings. Still very new, I haven't saved any patches worth sharing.

I play in a hardcore band(similar, maybe, to spudmonsters, strife and raised fist) . So, big compressed, growly sounds :). But, any modern sound(metal or similar) that I can tweak, would be awesome.
