Club Bergantino! Let's See Those Rigs!

How many of the reissue 610’s were made? Anyone have a number?
We were talking SVT VRs. Mine is an ‘08. They first did them in ‘07. I have no idea how many they made in different factories over the years. First here, then Viet Nam, and last in China. I’m not sure when they stopped. Maybe ‘21? At least they wew still selling them unti fairly recently.

Sounds good loud or low volume.

I have been admiring the hp2, and the hp2x.
All iv seen , and heard , on utube, just sound amazing, and so versatile..
The only reason iv not gone with either, is I'm computer illiterate, and any sort of "download" scares me. Iv avoided digital multi effects, for same reason. Maybe, in the future, I will be more confident, but till then, I will just "admire" others..

I'm right there with you on computer illiterate, but they're very easy to use and work with... And if you have any questions, you can get ahold of Jim or find info on YouTube or right here on TalkBass..

I’m curious, since IR models of speakers and amps are in common use to recreate their sounds, could an IR model be made of the Bergantino X transformer? If so then perhaps this X-IR could be loaded into the Super Pre or HP2 to incorporate this special sauce into the tone profile? If compatible with 3rd party packages perhaps it could collect its own royalties.

I just snagged the last 610, I wasn’t paying attention and almost missed the special run! Best cabinet ever!!

Same. I almost missed this one as well. Fortunately, I was able to move some gear and fund the purchase of the 2nd to last one. Lol. I wish I still had my 71’ blue line to use with this cab. However, it’s way easier to find a vintage svt than it is to find a NV610. I will own a svt again.

Although….the new HP2X is really piquing my interest as well.

Too bad you live so far from me. I'm seriously considering selling my blue line, but shipping would be a nightmare.

My favorite amp with the nv610t is the v4b reissue. It gets plenty loud and sounds perfect.
Ooof, I bet. I've owned both (well, the non-T version of the cab), but not at the same time. Still have the amp. I couldn't justify that big cab anymore, though I absolutely loved the sound.

I hardly use my non-T NV610 anymore... at most, an outdoor gig or two per year with a certain band. But I love it so much it'll be a difficult decision to sell even if I wasn't gigging it at all (that's just me, I totally understand your decision).
