Yeah, it looks like the prices are on the rise. I'm hoping to snag a P classic or J IV at a reasonable price eventually. Meanwhile, I just finished assembling a bass last night using spare parts and finally installed my Moollon VP60 pickup. It sounds fantastic! I'd venture to say that much of the Moollon magic comes from the neck and pickup(s).

I owned one briefly.
It’s a different beast for sure. Enormous sounding.

Had to really struggle to dial it in.
My JV and PV not so.

But it was the most comfortable of all the Moollons and loved the 24 fret neck.


Then again, each bass is different. Some woods just sound better than others.

All that to say I’d love to a B524 to the fold.

Yeah man! I can’t wait to play Jersey Boys on my Moollon P. I have to get through Fiddler on the Roof first… snooze.

It's been quiet in here... No recent deliveries or updates from Andi/YJ?

I noticed today this red J IV on reverb that has been listed for over 2 months now. The asking price of €3.850 + shipping seems a bit steep and that's probably why it's on there so long, but I keep looking at it (read: drooling over).
