Double Bass Problem with a Luthier (Roland/Emanuel Wilfer content)

Honestly, I feel very bad for you. Every time I read this it makes me angry and also upset. Being a student, having limited money, and placing your trust in someone and having them take advantage really makes my stomach turn. I have reached out to the luthier to complain.

I just read all updates again and Tyronimo wrote he say to you that you don’t write also to the company now perhaps Monday and Tuesday.

I write every day private with Tyronimo he told me about the transport company. That he got a offer and the company got a offer and there are big difference. It is normal and understandable that the company want to clear this. I don’t know the exact prices if they difference just 10€ or more i don’t know but I believe it is higher.

Tyronimo told also to me that he is in daily contact with the company and perhaps nobody knows this but in Austria and Germany was this Thursday national holiday and the day after (Friday) not every company work complete. Perhaps also the transport company not complete but I don’t know. This just for your mind.

Tyronimo means to me that he thinks really positive and also I believe he get updates often so I think it’s better when he make everything himself direct. It looks really that the luthier will close this situation soon, because they contact the transport manager and gave Tyronimo the direct contact to them.

Hopefully it is closed soon!

The email from Roland stated that shipping was included in the price. Guess he realized after the fact that shipping to Costa Rica is going to cost a ton of money and didn’t want to pay it - especially for a 4K eur bass. There are going to be customs charges too.

On Facebook you claimed that the bass had arrived, but was damaged and that you had been to court and got a judgement. I really think this is not something that should be on a public forum. It's putting the OP's credibility at stake, and also the business reputation of a fine luthier. Please someone, do the right thing and remove this thread, let it get sorted out in private without all of us muddying the waters
I have received news and information, but not that the bass has been shipped yet, apparently there was a bad communication with the transport company, anyway I will be waiting to see what happens.

You should read better, I have said many times that I am not other people with this same problem, there are more people and not all the people who write things about Wilfer are me, I can only talk about my case, I honestly have no idea of what are you talking.

If you or someone wants my Facebook profile, I can give it to you or to whoever wants it without any problem, it seems to be the only solution to stop accusing me for what others do or say on their Facebook profiles.

it makes you happy that a poor kid in Costa Rica lost his life savings by a swindler half way around the world?

I have had several basses made for me without issue. Reputation is everything.

It makes me happy that by not wanting a luthier-made bass I am spared this kid's predicament; I do feel bad for the kid. I also know things like this happen on the EB side once in awhile as well.

I really don't understand (aside from the fact that this is TB) why posters extraneous to this issue continue to nose around. I believe Tyronimo is handling this the best he can, although it would be better if he had legal representation. And tom31, I don't know if you are being of any real help to Tyronimo or not, but your posts in English are confusing. I get it that it's not your first language.

You’re doing the same thing except I reached out to the luthier to try and exert pressure and make him aware of the issue and how it is definitely going to impact his reputation.

Tom has been a tremendous help to me, and I am very grateful to him.

I hope this week is the last week of all this, really all this is very tired. When I have new news I will inform here, for now I will wait and I will not say anything else.

I'm out. I genuinely hope all this BS a) gets resolved and b)doesn't backfire on anyone. It all smells very very fishy to me, but hey, maybe I'm cynical. There have been far too many offers to publish actual documents, and not one forthcoming. Order form? Invoice? receipts? Nothing. Good luck with whatever you're trying to achieve.

He published a payment confirmation e-mail.

Yes you better out, nothing you say is relevant, you are the one that smells fishy, for you this should only be closed and I lose my only way of exposing this to the world, here the only thing that smells bad to me is you who want them to close this, when the administrators and moderators themselves said that not. I myself will ask that they close this when everything is solved, don't worry, it wasn't your money or your bass.
