Are you in the USA? I ordered mine a while ago from Sweetwater and there's been no updates. The ATREIDES arrived 30 minutes ago. It's nuts. Tons of volume, the sliders all interact with eachother in crazy ways. Awesome.

Yeah. I placed a pre-order in mid January with Sweetwater and was notified on Wednesday...arrived today. Let me/us know when your pedal arrives. Are you in the USA? I ordered mine a while ago from Sweetwater and there's been no updates.
Thanks bud. I ordered a Sweetwater exclusive finish so I wonder if that's why it's taking longer.Yeah. I placed a pre-order in mid January with Sweetwater and was notified on Wednesday...arrived today. Let me/us know when your pedal arrives.
The volume on this pedal is insane. I barely have it past the L of the volume slider and it's loud! Not sure if it's defective or not.
I’m waiting on the sweetwater exclusive also. I noticed on when I checked the receipt for the order online it shows 03/01 I hope that was just an estimate and they come in sooner. Thanks bud. I ordered a Sweetwater exclusive finish so I wonder if that's why it's taking longer.
Sorry to hear. Hopefully just a bug on yours and not indicative of a larger issue.I'm sending the ATREIDES back for another unit; the volume slider is unusable. If I set the volume anywhere near halfway and barely tap a string it sends a massive signal to my amp. I've tried it with three different passive basses, as the only pedal in the signal chain, and through my guitar rig with the same result.

I'm having the same issue. Way too much gain, even with the volume set low. Love the sound but not really usable.

I'm expecting a replacement from Sweetwater next week. If the next pedal has the same issue, they're both going back.I have a message out to my Sweetwater salesman about this issue. Mine ships on the 1st and I don't want to deal with this.
I tried the ATREIDES with three different basses (PJ, J, and Mustang) and two different guitars (HB and single coils) with the same result. The volume is off, on, or unusable beyond 10% of the slider range.Thought on the volume issue - isn't the Atreides supposed to work for plenty of instruments? Perhaps there is an instrument or application that needs such a loud output? Just guessing here - perhaps it's "feature". My Swollen Pickle has knobs at either extreme sometimes, but I love the tone.
@basstalkname @smokinjoe I asked someone about their pedal and they said if it’s all the way up it’s very loud but that the volume can be set beyond 1 and is usable.
That’s a shame. Definitely sounds like a dud then because it seems most people are not complaining about any issues with volume. Also seems like sweetwater sold out of the first batch and won’t get more till later. I wonder if they would pay shipping back to Dunlop to get them to warranty it since there are no replacements at this time. Not the case with mine. I tried different basses and volume settings with the same result.
wow...My Sweetwater Exclusive is shipping March 1st apparently and I told the rep about this thread. This was his response after hearing from his "in house guy"
"“...this pedal is not for the faint of heart. It's usable, but the reality is that it's very extreme. It really is a filler/overdub type pedal IMO. Turn it on, make some crazy noises, then turn it off..."
Good question. Plenty of Way Huge offerings have internal trimmers! Is there an internal trimmer that somebody at the factory failed to set?
I thought the same thing but the only adjustments inside are for selecting one or two octaves and adjusting the phaser. I called Way Huge / Dunlop and the tech told me there was no internal adjustment for volume.Good question. Plenty of Way Huge offerings have internal trimmers!
